ASKING PRICE
The asking price is the initial price at which a lot is offered for sale in an auction.
The reserve price is the minimum the lot will be sold for.

Each item to be auctioned is called a lot. Every lot receives a unique number called the lot number
Reserve not met
RESERVE NOT MET
If the auction for a lot has ended and the highest bid is below the reserve price, the vehicle is "under reserve". The auctioneer decides, in consultation with the seller, to dissolve the reservation if necessary.
